masonic avenue

This project removed the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room, allowing for conversation and natural light to flow throughout the space. Structural beams and posts were inserted, and the kitchen itself was completely renovated. Various arrangements of counters, cabinets, and work triangle were tested before settling on the final design, including the expansive central island. A space-hogging mud room was replaced by a laundry nook behind frosted glass doors. The custom corner bench offers a place to relax and open storage cubbies help keep bills, homework, and cellphones organized.

Deborah Lewis was the interior designer on the project.
